Taishaku-kyo Valley (帝釈峡)

Taishaku-kyo Valley is located in eastern Hiroshima prefecture.

It is a 18-kilometer-long canyon.




Lake Shinryu-ko (神龍湖) and Momiji Bridge (紅葉橋)






According to Japan National Tourism Organization's web site,

"(Taishaku-kyo Valley's) Magnificent scenery including precipitous cliffs, mountain streams, and waterfalls. "


"The highlight of the Taishaku Valley is On-bashi Bridge (雄橋), a 90-meter-long, 19-meter-wide and 40-meter-high natural limestone bridge (石灰岩の橋). The bridge, regarded as one of the three largest natural bridges in the world (世界三大天然橋のひとつ), has also been designated as a nation's natural monument."
