Fukuju Kaikan 福寿会館の概要と英語説明
福山城の展望台から北側（駅と反対側）をみると、右手下に福寿会館（ふくじゅかいかん）が見えます。
福寿会館
・昭和初期、鰹節（かつおぶし）で財を成した安部和助（あんべわすけ）氏の別荘として建てられた。
・福山空襲（1945.8.8）のときは水をかけたりして焼失を免れた。
・洋館と和館がある。
・2011年建物すべてが重要文化財に登録された。
・現在は福山市が管理する建物で、市民が利用することができる。
・喫茶室あり。時間があれば、洋館１階の茶処ばらで日本庭園と福山城を眺めながらの休憩もおすすめ。郷土料理のうずみ定食は数量限定。どんな具材がごはんの下に隠れているか探しながらいただきます。

They were built as the second home of a rich merchant, ANBE Wasuke.
安部和助（あんべわすけ）氏という商人の別荘として建てられた。

It has a Japanese-style building, a two-story Western-style building and a tea house. It also has a beautiful Japanese garden.
In the late 19th century to the early 20th century, this area was covered with bamboos. The site development and building construction started in the late 1920’s and completed in the late 1930’s. They were originally built as the second home of a merchant, Anbe Wasuke. Now they are for public use.
