英語で高血圧（症）は hypertension
hyper- = over, above, excessive 過度の
tension = 緊張
高血圧です。
I have high blood pressure.
hyper- の反対は hypo- = under, beneath
低血圧（症）は hypotension
低血圧です。
I have low blood pressure.

血圧 blood pressure とは何か？
"When the heart pumps blood through the arteries, the blood puts pressure on the artery walls. This is known as blood pressure.

pumps 送り出す
blood 血液
arteries 動脈
artery walls 動脈壁
血圧とは血液が動脈壁を押す力
血圧の表記例 120/80 mmHg
読み方は one twenty over eighty
単位mmHgも読むならmillimeters (of) mercury
血管 blood vessel
動脈 artery
静脈 vein
点滴 intravenous drip や静脈注射 intravenous injection は略してIV
intravenous = 静脈内の
intra- = 内部の
venous = vein の形容詞
単語は、絵を見ながら覚えるのがおススメ。
